Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.

This beast, who has authority over the first beast, has characteristics ‘like a lamb’. The beast speaks like a dragon - doesn’t speak like a lamb - but has some appearances that are similar to a lamb.
This makes me think about many types of evil in our day. There are philosophies and streams of culture which have some characteristics, some appearances, of good. Just enough for the desensitized to think it is virtuous, when it is evil and speaks like a dragon.
Don’t be fooled by outward appearances. Listen with discerning ears. Know the real Lamb of God. Don’t be caught off guard by imitations. This world is full of them.
Jesus, I listen for Your voice and serve only You. Give me spiritual discernment. I love You Jesus. Amen.
