SCRIPTURE:
Rise up, O Judge of the earth; Render punishment to the proud.
Psalms 94:2 NKJV
OBSERVATION:
A judge is not a bad thing to the innocent. The world criticizes God for His ‘judgement’. The righteous say, “Rise up, O Judge!” The wicked say, “Stay away, O Judge!”
APPLICATION:
As a kid I showed animals in the county fair. We cared for our animals, cleaned them, primped them and went to great pains to show them off before a judge. When you feel like you have a prize animal, you want a judge to affirm your hard work.
A judge is not a terror to those who are prepared. A judge affirms and rewards.
PRAYER:
Father, I thank You for being the righteous Judge of all the earth! Amen.
