A Sound Mind

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Try to imagine the number of things that occupy our mind throughout the day. The mind flits from one thing to another, like a bee looking for pollen. You may be focused on thinking about a task at hand and then, all of a sudden, your mind is off on some other topic.

One of the best ways to train your mind is meditating on scripture. Take a verse or passage and chew on it throughout the day. I’m going to do that with today’s verse.

Father God, I receive a sound mind from You today. Amen.
