An Amazing Book

SCRIPTURE:

And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying, “In you all the nations shall be blessed.”

‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

OBSERVATION:

The scripture was able to foresee what would happen thousands of years into the future. Abraham was 430 years before the law. Moses was about a thousand years before David and Solomon who were a thousand years before Jesus. God knows the beginning from the end. We have to read His Word with that understanding.

APPLICATION:

The Bible is s history but it is a prophetic history. Paul was able to read it looking for those prophetic foreshadows. When God spoke to Abraham He already knew what he would be doing thousands of years in the future. He knew what He would be doing today in my time. He gives me prophetic clues.

PRAYER:

Lord, speak to me through Your prophetic Word and by Your Spirit. Amen.
