What sticks out to me today is the availability of blessing. Blessing is not something randomly given to some and withheld from others. It is available to all. It is either chosen or rejected, not bestowed.
True blessing (not prosperity) comes from being in God’s word and putting it into practice. A friend of mine asked a music store owner to give him the secret to playing like the pros. He said the secret is practice! You must put in the practice. The same is true with God’s Word. Spend the time and put in the practice. No shortcuts.
God, Thank You for making blessing so available to me. Amen.
