SCRIPTURE:
Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.
Romans 16:17 NKJV
OBSERVATION:
Notice here Paul says regarding those who are causing divisions and offenses, “Avoid them”. He doesn’t say engage them, or refute them. He says avoid them.
APPLICATION:
Sometimes the best way to deal will problematic people is to avoid them. I’m convinced some troublemakers love the engagement and argumentation some give them. Just to avoid them as irrelevant is the greatest defense.
PRAYER:
Jesus, Give me wisdom to know when I should just avoid a troublemaker and not engage. Amen.
