and that He might make known the riches of His glory on the vessels of mercy, which He had prepared beforehand for glory,
Romans 9:23 NKJV
Promise. Riches. Glory. Mercy. These are the descriptive words of God’s relationship with His true children. God decided beforehand that the relationship He would have with His children would be based on these things, not on lineage, geography or merit.
I sit here this morning and say, “Wow! I can’t believe I get to be part of God’s family!” Instead of, “Look what i have earned.” That was God’s plan all along.
God, You are amazing and I am not. Yet You are my Father and I’m a child of the King. Hallelujah!
