I love this phrase: “The Lord will be your confidence”. I can be confident. I should be confident and live with an air of confidence. But that confidence is in the Lord.
Confidence is different from arrogance. I can be confident, not arrogant.
Where do people put their confidence? It is often in their own abilities, or their schemes, or riches, or charm, or politics, or technology, or ingenuity.
Confidence in anything but the Lord is misplaced.
Jesus, I have complete confidence in You today. Amen.
