Excellent Name

SCRIPTURE:

“O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth!”

OBSERVATION:

It is a good day to be reminded by the psalmist how excellent is His name in all the earth. His name is excellent - no other name excels but His. His name was excellent in the day of this psalm and it remains just as excellent today. No matter the culture, the climate or the circumstances, how excellent is His name.

APPLICATION:

It is good to dwell on His excellent name. Everything and everyone must bow to His wonderful name. How can I be discouraged or downhearted when I know that wonderful name?

PRAYER:

O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth!
