SCRIPTURE:
Then the men of the city said to Elisha, “Please notice, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my Lord sees; but the water is bad, and the ground barren.”
II Kings 2:19 NKJV
OBSERVATION:
There was comfort within the city but without good water and fruitfulness there is no hope for the future.
APPLICATION:
At some point we need to look away from present comfort to future possibilities. Is my focus on present comfort or on future fruitfulness? Comfort can certainly distract me from issues that will limit fruitfulness in the future.
PRAYER:
Father, Give me fresh water and fruitful soil for a future harvest. Amen.
