The Lord only gave the disciples what they needed and what they could handle. I believe He does the same for me. If He teaches me what I need when I need it, I’m much more likely to learn it and apply it.
That means, in all likelihood, there is something new He wants to teach me now for the season of life I am in. Past lessons are not enough. I need to learn more from Him, by His Holy Spirit.
Lord, Help me to learn new things from You today. Reveal to me new things, things I couldn’t bear or couldn’t use before. Amen.
