Epaphras, who is one of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
Colossians 4:12 NKJV
The phrase that stuck out to me today is, “laboring fervently for you in prayers”. Paul described Epaphrus in this way.
I don’t think we labor fervently in prayer very much. I certainly pray, but do I labor fervently in prayer for others? Usually my pray for others involve: heal this, they need that, etc. This pray was that they would stand perfect and complete in the will of God.
Lord God, I lift those up before You who are part of our church family. Be present with each one today. Bring growth and passion, that each one may stand perfect and complete in Your will. Amen.
