Look Who Knows So Much!

SCRIPTURE:

“Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭26:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

OBSERVATION:

It is a dangerous thing for me to be wise in my own eyes. If I think I’m always right and can’t be wrong, then I can’t learn. I can’t be corrected. I have a warped view of people and the world. That’s why there’s more hope for a fool.

APPLICATION:

I need to look for ways that I can grow. I need to find people who know more than me so I can learn from them. I need to test and challenge my opinions to either correct them or reinforce them. I need to listen more than I talk.

I can’t be a learner and a know-it-all.

PRAYER:

Father, Protect me from pride and arrogance. Make me a learner. Teach me. Amen.
