And when He had sent the multitudes away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray. Now when evening came, He was alone there.
Matthew 14:23 NKJV
There was a time for ministry to the multitudes. There was a time for teaching His disciples. And there was a time to get alone for prayer. All are important and have their place.
Jesus took time to get alone for prayer. He sent the multitudes away. He made the disciples get into the boat. He went up on the mountain. This was very intentional. I have to be intentional about prayer.
Jesus, Thank You for spending time with me in prayer. Amen.
