Imagine - the actions of this centurion made Jesus marvel!
I think it would take something special to make Jesus marvel. He spoke everything into existence. He Himself did many marvelous things. It was easy to marvel at Jesus, but to make Him marvel?? That would be difficult.
This man, who wasn’t even a believer, made Jesus marvel because he got it. Jesus’ power wasn’t limited to physical proximity. Jesus wasn’t just here for the privileged Jews. There is no where else to go with our requests than to Him.
Only genuine trusting faith can make Jesus marvel.
Jesus, You are marvelous! May my faith give You something to marvel at. Amen.
