Marvelous!

SCRIPTURE:

“When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!”

OBSERVATION:

The centurion was a Roman official. He came seeking healing for his servant. When he was confident Jesus could heal him without even coming to his house, Jesus marveled at his faith. It means he was filled with wonder.

APPLICATION:

Jesus didn’t marvel often. Others marveled at Him a great deal but Jesus was rarely caught of guard.

I would love to be the person who is so filled with faith it makes Jesus marvel. That would be marvelous!

PRAYER:

Jesus, I believe in You. I trust in You more than anything in this life. While there is uncertainty and fear around me I have calm because of my faith in You. Amen.
