“Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to You. But say the word, and my servant will be healed.”

When the centurion sent people instead of coming out to Him, I would have thought the centurion thought he was too important to go himself. In reality, he felt unworthy.
How often do I misinterpret people’s motives? They may be exactly opposite of what I think they are, as in the case of this centurion.
Don’t make conclusions based on perceived motives.
Lord, Help me see the best in people. Amen.
