”And the frogs shall depart from you, from your houses, from your servants, and from your people. They shall remain in the river only.”
Exodus 8:11 NKJV
When God brought a curse of frogs, Pharaoh asked for all the frogs to be eliminated. Moses clarified that the frogs in the river wouldn’t be eliminated, just those in places where they don’t belong like houses, etc.
That’s an interesting clarification.
I think when something is bugging me it should be eliminated - wiped off the face of the earth. Actually, everything has its proper place. If all the frogs had been eliminated, Egypt would have been out of balance and suffer a great loss. Frogs have their place in keeping things in check and in balance. They just needed to be confined to their proper place.
So many things are like that. Sex confined to its proper place of marriage is incredible. But, when it overflows its bounds into other places and relationships, is very destructive.
Keep everything within its proper place.
Father, Give me wisdom to know the proper time and place for everything You have created. Amen.
