O // OBSERVATION

Why did this verse get your attention? Make a simple observation from the text

This verse was comforting and strengthening to me today. Then and now, peace is desired. Then and now, the only route to perfect peace is trust in God.

Seeking peace from any other source will not last.

A // APPLICATION

How can I apply this to my life today?

When I was a very new Christian, I began memorizing key scriptures. I used the Topical Memory System by the Navigators. One of the very first scriptures I memorized was this one.

This verse is a great one to commit to memory. When peace is elusive, this verse is a solid and comforting reminder.

When I lack peace there is one reason: I have ceased trusting in God.

Isaiah 26:3 is a comforting friend. A constant reminder and sometimes a needed correction.

P // PRAYER

Express yourself in prayer

Father, I trust in You and receive Your peace today. Amen.
