Pick A Side

SCRIPTURE:

Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, But such as keep the law contend with them.

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭28:4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

OBSERVATION:

There is a direct inverse correlation between ‘the law’ - God’s instructions for holy living - and wickedness, or evil. Scripture positions itself squarely against wickedness. Wickedness is always self-destructive or other-destructive. God’s law is self-edifying and other-edifying. It makes all the difference.

APPLICATION:

Don’t be surprised when living for God puts you at odds with others. In fact, it should be affirming. When it comes to wickedness you cane either praise - go along with it - or contend. There doesn’t seem to be much middle ground.

PRAYER:

Jesus, I praise You today, not wickedness. Make me a light in darkness. Amen.
