Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you,

God has given discretion and understanding to guard and protect our ways. Many troubles in life are avoided when we use discretion and apply understanding.
The problem is we have lost discretion and understanding. Many make decisions in life totally void of discretion and unaided by understanding. These things are not valued in our society.
I can still gain and use understanding. I can still be discreet in my life choices. It may not be popular, but it is godly wisdom.
Lord, Give me greater discretion and greater understanding. Amen.
