SCRIPTURE:
Do you see a man hasty in his words? There is more hope for a fool than for him. A man’s pride will bring him low, But the humble in spirit will retain honor.

OBSERVATION:
God has given us a pretty powerful tool that can also be a dangerous weapon - words. When you understand their power you exercise caution in their use. Don’t be reckless.
APPLICATION:
Am I careful or careless with my words? Someone who is hasty can cause all kinds of unintended damage. It’s like ‘ready - fire - aim’ instead of ‘ready - aim - fire’. Many problems are caused by careless, hasty words. Don’t be a fool.
PRAYER:
Jesus, May my words today be used for healing, blessing, edifying and joy-giving. Amen.
