The restoration of all things. All things … ALL THINGS … will be restored.
I worked in insurance claims and I have walked through houses that have been through a fire. Everything in the house has been burned, heated, damaged by smoke, damaged by water, or all the above.
It’s easy to go through the house and think, “Wow, this place is a mess.” But that’s because of the fire. It wasn’t like that before the fire. It was new and clean and tidy.
Then the restoration company comes in and restores everything. It looks good as new, the way it is supposed to look.
Our world today needs to be restored. Sin has damaged our world. It’s not supposed to be this way. It wasn’t made this way. Just wait to see what it will be like when everything has been restored by God’s ultimate restoration work!
Jesus, I am so glad You came to restore me and to restore all things! Amen.
