“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.”

Jesus knows what He’s doing. He does everything perfectly. But this statement gives cause for concern. What shepherd would sent sheep in the midst of wolves? Only one who is feeding the wolves!
There is something happening here far beyond the natural. It is supernatural.
It may feel like a losing battle sometimes, but the Good Shepherd knows what He’s doing. I can trust Him just like His disciples did.
Good Shepherd, I have no fear today. I want You to fulfill Your purpose in me. Amen!
