SCRIPTURE:
Now the Lord had told Samuel in his ear the day before Saul came, saying,”
I Samuel 9:15 NKJV
OBSERVATION:
I like the way this verse is worded, ‘the Lord had told Samuel in his ear’. He whispered it to him. Samuel heard Him clear and plainly, but it was more of a whisper than a shout.
APPLICATION:
A whisper is a much more intimate and close form of communication. It’s very unlikely you’re going to whisper to a stranger. There’s not the relationship for that. You don’t whisper from across the room. You’ve got to get in close.
Sometimes God whispers.
PRAYER:
Lord, You can whisper to me.
