Sons of Korah

SCRIPTURE:

“Nevertheless the children of Korah did not die.”

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭26:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

OBSERVATION:

Interesting side note which will become significant later on.

Korah was the one in rebellion who brought death to many in Israel who followed him in rebellion. Yet his children were graciously spared by the Lord.

Many of the psalms are written “by the sons of Korah”. That is this very family and their descendants who were alive by the grace of God.

APPLICATION:

I am not doomed by the acts of my forefathers. The sons of Korah turned their family reputation from rebellion to praise. I can do the same. Instead of blaming ‘the sins of my fathers’, change it!

Praise God and don’t complain.

Father, thank you for this powerful story of generational redemption. Amen.
