Spiritual Pride

SCRIPTURE:

“Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭18:9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

OBSERVATION:

‘Some who trusted in themselves’. What a description. These people figured they were all they needed. They had already arrived. They were at the pinnacle of spirituality. They couldn’t have been more wrong.

APPLICATION:

Be spiritually humble and hungry. Spiritual pride keeps me from all that Jesus has for me. I am nothing without Jesus.

Jesus, I NEED YOU!
