Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 5:19 NKJV
“Whoever does and teaches them…”
It’s important to note that Jesus linked teaching and doing together. Those who teach about the word of God but do not do it themselves is left out of this promise.
I heard a story just yesterday about a pastor who was extremely judgmental over a sin committed by someone else, but then was later found guilty of the very same sin.
It does no good to teach it if you don’t do it.
