Why did this verse get your attention? Make a simple observation from the text

This is a verse of victory. With all the catastrophe, conflict and disturbing images of these chapters this one verse settles everything. They make war with the Lamb and the Lamb wins. It doesn’t matter how many dragons and beasts oppose Him, the Lamb wins.

This verse also describes those who are on His team. They are called. They are chosen. And they are faithful. That’s a great team.

A // APPLICATION

How can I apply this to my life today?

The entire secret to the end times is this: Be on Team Lamb.

Team Lamb members are called. They have a calling on their life. It is a purpose to pursue and the ability to pursue it. There is internal drive, not external coercion.

Team Lamb members are chosen. Their place and destiny is not self-generated but comes from a higher place. They understand their allegiance to One greater.

Team Lamb is faithful. There is no value in a calling unless you are faithful to that calling. There is no value to being chosen unless you are faithful to the One who chooses. Faithfulness activates the purposes and promises of God in the life of an individual.
