Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
I John 4:1 NKJV
Even in the early church, in the first generation, there were false doctrines and false teachers. The twists and perversion of truth continues today. Lies and errors about Jesus and the church shouldn’t surprise us or discourage us. I need to stay very close to the truth.
Jesus, This morning I thank You for truth. Continue to make me more and more discerning. Amen.
