The End

The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, And shall totter like a hut; Its transgression shall be heavy upon it, And it will fall, and not rise again.

There are two events which are very difficult to imagine: the beginning of everything and the end of everything. No matter what kind of scientific terms are used or how many billions of years it takes, there remains an obvious truth. Something cannot come from nothing. Never. No way.

Everything had an intentional beginning and everything will have an intentional end.

My hope and trust must go beyond this world because one day it will be gone. The very ground below, upon which every earthly foundation is built, will give way. Then what? Only confidence in God will stand.

Almighty God, My ultimate trust is in You alone. This life will end yet You continue. Hallelujah!
