Lest we forget - God’s story with us is a love story. “For God so loved the world…” He is passionate about His creation, His imago dei.

We sometimes see God as transactional, unfeeling. That is far from the truth. He is crazy about us.

A // APPLICATION

How can I apply this to my life today?

I think we tend to remove emotions from God because we see it as a weakness, a vulnerability. Maybe it is a vulnerability. It is the vulnerability Jesus showed on the cross. That act wasn’t transactional. It was passion - literally. The passion of the Christ.

Don’t be afraid of emotions. God isn’t. He is emotional about us - about me. Think about that today.
