Then Herod, when he had secretly called the wise men, determined from them what time the star appeared.
Matthew 2:7 NKJV
When it says ‘Herod secretly called the wise men’ I think it means he called them with a secret intent. He was plotting something to foil the prophecy of God. What a foolish plan!
No one can win against God. No one can foil His plans and purposes. In the same way, no one can lose when allied with God.
I don’t have to worry about success or failure. I just need to pick the right ally. Don’t fight against God’s plan. Don’t worry about the fulfillment of God’s plan in my life.
Father, I trust Your strong plan for me today, throughout 2023 and beyond.
