SCRIPTURE:
And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!”
Isaiah 6:3 NKJV
OBSERVATION:
The backdrop behind Isaiah 6 is not a positive one. God’s people are not responding to Him. They are doing their own thing their own way. They have become ‘wild’.
And yet - the whole earth is full of His glory. All the sin and corruption in the world can’t remove, erase or overcome God’s glory from the earth.
APPLICATION:
No matter what happens, the whole earth is full of His glory. Though the wicked rise up and rule, the whole earth is full of His glory. Even when chaos, confusion and oppression are present, the whole earth is full of His glory.
It doesn’t take me long to see the whole earth is full of His glory. I direct my thoughts and attention to Him and to His glory today.
PRAYER:
Lord, Fill me with Your glory. May people see Your glory in me today. Amen.
