Proverbs 23:9 NKJV
In order to accomplish this proverb, I have to think before I speak. I have to think about what I am going to say before I say it. (Always a good idea.) I have to think about my audience, to whom am I speaking. And I have to think about the outcome of what I am going to say. What will their reaction be?
So many people speak without thinking about these things. Just because I have something to say doesn’t mean I have to say it.
