I am so grateful for the Apostle Paul. God used him as a missionary to bring the gospel to the whole non-Jewish world. Even to distant continents.
And God used him to craft most of the New Testament. His understanding of the Old Testament and deep spiritual insight is just what was needed.
But that doesn’t mean he was perfect. Apparently, he wasn’t a great or forceful preacher. He says it here and 2 Cor 10:10, and 1 Cor 1:17. It’s hard to imagine that Paul wasn’t a great preacher.
I am reminder how different preachers are - some animated, some expository, some storytellers, etc. God uses each one according to their gift. There is no one right way. God uses the diversity.
Lord, Use the gift in me, even though it doesn’t look like the gift in others. Amen.
