Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.
John 16:20 NKJV
The phrase that stuck out to me today is, “Your sorrow will be turned into joy.” Only Jesus could turn sorrow into joy! He did it for the disciples with the empty tomb. He will do it for all who trust in Him.
This is ultimate Upcycling! Recycling is using something again. Upcycling is making something even better than it was before. Every sorrow I have ever experienced will be upcycled and turned into joy. Isn’t that great news!
Jesus, I trust You to turn sorrow into joy! Amen.
