It’s easy to envy those who seem to get ahead though they have no fear of God. They have money, fame and luxury. But we fail to factor in the hereafter. That changes everything.
Don’t just live for the here and now. Live for the hereafter. Don’t forget the hereafter. This life is nothing more than preparation for that one. Trading comfort here for poverty there is not a good trade.
Father, Help me to live with eternity in mind. Amen.
