SCRIPTURE:
Then Saul arose from the ground, and when his eyes were opened he saw no one. But they led him by the hand and brought him into Damascus. And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank.
Acts 9:8-9 NKJV
OBSERVATION:
Saul went to Damascus to lead away Christians bound in chains. Those were his plans. He had the authority and experience to do it.
Instead he is the one who is led by the hand, bound by blindness.
APPLICATION:
God is able to do what He wants, where He wants, to whom He wants, when He wants. My plans are not sure. I have plans. God has purposes.
Paul had to wait three days in darkness with no food or water. That had to be a long wait. It was also purposed by the Lord to accomplish His perfect purposes.
PRAYER:
Father, my plans are just tools for You to use. Direct them. Change them. Use them to accomplish Your perfect purposes in me. Amen.
