Then some of His disciples said among themselves, “What is this that He says to us, ‘A little while, and you will not see Me; and again a little while, and you will see Me’; and, ‘because I go to the Father’?”

When the disciples weren’t quite sure about what Jesus was saying, they asked each other about it. They talked to one another about Jesus instead of going to Jesus Himself.
This happens a lot today. People talk to one another about Jesus instead of going to Jesus Himself. We wonder what He might be saying to us and, instead of going directly to Jesus and His Word, we listen to others’ ideas and opinions about what He might be saying.
It’s okay to discuss things with one another, but don’t forget to go to Jesus. He is the best source of all. Don’t just listen to sermons and what other people say about Jesus. Go to Him directly.
