You Are Not Alone

SCRIPTURE:

“And behold, two men talked with Him, who were Moses and Elijah,”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭9:30‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

OBSERVATION:

Just a simple thought. Of all the Old Testament figures, including Adam, Abraham, Ruth, David, or all the others, why Moses and Elijah?

Moses represents the Law and Elijah represents the Prophets. In their ministries, both went up a mountain to meet with God to draw strength and encouragement. That’s what Jesus was doing now.

APPLICATION:

When I need rest and direction from the Lord I am not alone. Those who went before me, the great men and women of God - even Jesus Himself - needed strength and encouragement. It is not a weakness. It is a strength.

PRAYER:

Lord, I am not ashamed of my need for You. Strengthen me today. Amen.
