When there is a difference of opinion, everyone wants his own way. It is control and decision making yhat is at stake. One person digs in to stand his ground. The other does the same. Both are convinced they are right. There is an impasse.
Sometimes the most important thing isn’t being right. It’s more important to end contention than to get your own way. Even if something as random as flipping a coin makes the final decision. Better to let the decision to be randomly selected than to be divided.
Being right isn’t the most important thing. Don’t let it get in the way of relationship.
